What I was most attracted to is, first of all, it was a very modern solution to what we had in terms of labour. Honestly, you guys have made this program so simple. So simple to administer and simple to redeem, so we like that. We recognize that we've got 4 generations of people working with us and not everybody likes the same things, and we like that this is a program that people can personalize to their own needs and wants, but the simplicity was really a big factor as well.

Ultimately, why did you decide you wanted to do business with Guusto?

For all of those reasons I described. Plus, the fact that the cost of this program, because you are getting your money from your vendors, is great, right? It is so manageable and so easy to introduce. But the cost was an issue because we really never thought we were getting value for money from the old service recognition program at all. And the whole issue about giving people cash in the past was, we just didn't feel we were getting any mileage out of that. No emotional attachment in cash, you know?

How likely are you to recommend Guusto?

I would recommend you guys whole-heartedly.

If someone were listening right now, why do you think that person should take action and use Guusto?

Because it's a very low-cost high-benefit simple to use solution.

You addressed the pain points right away. You clearly had some understanding of how HR departments approach their work in recognition and the fact that there are a lot of manual processes and right from the get-go, you explained all that so I took it that you sort of understood some of the challenges that we are facing, and to a certain degree, maybe it sounded a little bit too good to be true?

In the end, any questions that I had were addressed through using the product or through you guys just having great customer service.

I really do think that your customer service is exceptional. I have talked about your product, and I am very enthusiastic about your product and about the efficiency that it brings. But the other piece of it is that you guys are super easy to get a hold of in your responses and that you are so responsive. If there is ever a question about how to use the platform or the reporting or anything like that it is very easy to get an answer that you will understand, you're not also getting the run-around, an openness to taking feedback from the users.

Can you touch on where you think you've seen the most value from using our tool?

The efficiencies and the time-saving for the HR team. So, the less they have to engage in running out to get gift cards or dealing with clerical processes around our reporting for finance and more time they can spend on real people's issues. So, moving that clerical stuff off of their plate so they can focus their time elsewhere. The efficiencies and operations are the big piece for me and then the second piece would be perception of us being a modern HR department that are utilizing modern products that are similar to what our employees are using as a consumer.

How likely are you to recommend Guusto?

Very likely. It's like my little secret in terms of something easy, an easy win for an HR department... little wins, little things you can do that can have a big impact... so easy to implement and can be a huge time-saving for HR departments, particularly the departments that are a one or two-man show where they don't have a lot of extra time. Really at every opportunity, I'm quite happy to recommend you guys.

In terms of what it's been like working with Guusto, I would say something we've really appreciated is that the admin team gets back to us right away if we have any questions at all about the program, and that, compared to some other vendors is a real differentiator.

Something else that's been really great about the program is that it has enabled us to track and manage recognition in a way that we previously were not doing in a cohesive manner and it has enabled us to do it in a way that also provides us with metrics and also continuous update. Something else that is unique about the platform is that we can see that Guusto is growing and evolving and working to meet our needs.

It's really neat to see how we had no idea what to expect and people found a lot of joy in the program once we launched it... there's a lot of enthusiasm about it.

Do you know what it was that piqued your interest about Guusto at the beginning?

The idea that they can choose where they want to spend the money.

So, basically the flexibility, the fact that the recipient has the ability to choose from the various merchants we offer, that was a big drive for you?

Yes, the flexibility for both us where we don't have to go out and buy the gift cards, but they can choose where they want to spend the money.
